On May 5 at 7:30 pm, the Speakers Action Group will be hosting a panel discussion on the topic: Global Terrorism: Is Canada at Risk? The panelists are John Thompson, President of the Mackenzie Institute (an organization that monitors international terrorism and its impact on Canada), Tom Kaye, Chief of Police in Owen Sound and one of the few police officers to undergo anti-terrorism training in the US and Israel, and Scott Bell, chief reporter for the National Post and author of Cold Terror, the book that was the cover story in Time Magazine last month. The venue is the auditorium in the North York branch of the Toronto Public Library in the North York City Centre at Yonge and Park Home. Admission is free, but seating is limited, so come early!
