Last month I saw a documentary entitled The Jews of Bombay. It was fascinating. India is the only country in the world where Jews have never encountered antisemitism (except when the Portuguese explorers arrived at what is now Goa in the 15th - I think - century and asked permission from their king to kill the Jews they found there). The Indian Jews are very proud of their Indian heritage!
