Here is an editorial and an article in today's National Post that address exactly the outrageous hypocrisy of the West when it comes to Israel's right of self-defense. Somehow it is acceptable to kill Osama Bin Laden if he is in the crosshairs of an Apache helicopter. But to kill Ahmed Rantisi, who proportionately has killed and maimed far more Israelis than Bin Laden has Americans, is "impeding progress toward a peaceful solution", according to Bill Graham, Canada's foreign minister. This is the same Ahmed Rantisi who for years has called for, and directed, the mass murder of Jews and the destruction of the Israeli state.
Once again Canada's foreign policy is willing to stand by while Israelis are mnurdered by Palestinian terrorists in exchnage for some political gain known only to our Prime Minister and his inner circle. I wish he would share it with the rest of us.
