Abhorrent and pathetic as this comment is, it is also nothing new. This is the ploy that Arab leaders have been using since 1947 to keep the population in check. As long as they can focus their unrest and anger externally (on Israel), they can hold on to power. The irony of this is of course, that by scapegoating Israel and refusing to seriously examine their own failings, they continue to widen the economic and cultural gulf between their own regimes and the west, which would include Israel (a westernized democracy). They fall further and further behind.
